KwikInventory™ is a bar code based inventory accounting and inventory management program. It makes extensive, and exclusive, use of the TriCoder portable bar code reader to make inventory management fast and easy, plus we also have support built in to support our 700 Series RF Terminals and our WiFi 802.11 RF Terminals. Modules are available to extend the function of the product as needed. We offer a free KwikInventory/Basic Module to start out and then the product Suite can be expanded by purchasing additional modules, all using the same core program and database.

Since KwikInventory™ is a modular application, this means that you can add functionality by purchasing additional software components ("add-on modules") and continue to use the same data that you have already created and managed in the KwikInventory/Basic module.

There are two main modules available: the KwikInventory™ Module, and the KwikCheck In/Out Module™ , plus we offer 2 levels of multi-user options. The modules can be purchased at any time and expand the functionality of the Free Basic Inventory functions, adding very powerful tools that will not only help you perform fast, easy physical inventories, but it can also help answer important questions about where your products and assets are located, or where items are located, who may have them, and when are they due back.

KwikInventory/Basic is the free starter edition of KwikInventory™ software. You can download it here or it is automatically sent with the purchase of any Worth Data USB/Keyboard Readers, the TriCoder, or our RF Terminals. With KwikInventory/Basic you can manage and update the current quantities of your items using the TriCoder or RF Terminal. KwikInventory/Basic also offers simple reporting to give you printed summaries of your inventory items.

The Kwikinventory/Basic also allows you to do check in and check out of items - limited to 10 transactions - which allows you to see how the KwikCheck In/Out Module works and to setup and start working on a tracking system - all for free.

Bar Codes make the job easier...
As one of the premier bar code equipment manufacturers, we have made sure that bar coding is integrated with the KwikInventory software to maximize your ease of use. The USB TriCoder portable bar code reader is used to quickly and accurately take physical inventories, record receipts, and capture issues or sales. Once data is collected in the TriCoder reader, you take it to the computer where KwikInventory is running and upload the data via USB port to the KwikInventory files. In addition you can use an unlimited amount of TriCoders to have users collect data - at no additional cost.

Bar Code Labels
We can provide pre-printed, polyester labels for your items! These labels are incredibly durable, scratch-proof, weather-resistant and best of all, we print them so you don't have to! Item Labels are available in quantities of 1000, 3000, 5000 and 10,000. Available in White Polyester or Matte Silver Foil.

Reporting
KwikInventory offers reporting on just about anything! Reporting is available for Items, Vendors, Physical Inventory Counts, Orders in System, etc. KwikInventory will alert you to low inventory levels, can track orders placed with vendors and maintain an accurate perpetual inventory.

Physical Inventory
After your database of stock numbers, description, cost, etc. has been entered into the KwikInventory program, complete a physical inventory by simply scanning each item counted (or scan each item and enter a quantity) into the TriCoder portable reader. Once you are finished scanning, connect the TriCoder to the PC using the USB cable and the data is uploaded into KwikInventory. You have the option to review the data before posting, noting any missing items or any significant discrepancies. After posting, you can get a report of your total inventory by value.

Perpetual Inventory
By recording receipts and issues, you can know the current status of any item, as well as be alerted to the need to reorder on a daily basis. If you are using the Order Management option in KwikInventory, the receipts are automatically updated as an order is received.

Issues or sales can be tracked by using the USB TriCoder portable reader as a Point-of-Sale scanner; the TriCoder will transmit the data immediately to your POS or invoicing program, while storing the sales data for later batch updating of issues. (You could also simply scan items taken from inventory for later updating).

Reorder Points
You can set reorder points based on usage estimates, lead times, and safety stock requirements. The program can then flag (in color) all items that need reordering.

Order Management
If you choose, you can track orders by vendor and by item. All reorder
calculations will include what is already on order and scheduled for delivery. You can get reports on what you need to order, what orders are late, and when each order is expected.

Using Worth Data bar code readers attached to a Windows computer in the department, the software allows you to scan the borrower's ID and then scan the record, tool, or item being checked out.

Bar Code Reader Support
KwikCheck In/Out will work with any keyboard or USB wedge bar code reader. The Worth Data recommended bar code reader for use with KwikCheck In/Out is the LI50-USB Integrated CCD Reader. This reader can operate as a keyboard or USB reader, is lightweight yet durable and can read codes from up to 7" away. This reader is a perfect fit for KwikCheck In/Out due to its easy setup, quick scanning and economical price. A bar code reader is recommended but not required; data can be typed instead. The LI50-USB is only $254.00

The TriCoder portable reader is recommended for remote applications such as job-site tool tracking and de-centralized document tracking. Using the portable data collector, you can remotely check out and check in products without the necessity of having a computer on-site. Simply upload the data to your computer at your convenience to update the KwikCheck In/Out database. A T54 TriCoder with a LI50 CCD Scanner and C21 USB cable is only $684.00

Any of our RF Terminals can also be used for real time remote applications such as job-site tool tracking and de-centralized document tracking.
