We supply high-quality, long lasting, polyester serialized labels in foil or white; these labels are ideal for tools. We support printing of receipts on checkout and check in. For jobsite tool control, we support remote check in/out using the battery powered TriCoder portable data collector. We even support a battery-powered printer for printing receipts remotely.
KwikInventory/Basic™ is our free starter version of the KwikInventory Suite. It allows you to do very simple physical inventories using a TriCoder. You can download the free version here. The free version can be expanded by purchasing one or more modules which currently include the KwikInventory™ Module and the KwikCheck In/Out™ Module. KwikCheck In/Out™ is the borrower accounting module for the KwikInventory Suite. It answers: who has the tool, file, item, asset, equipment, etc.; when are they due back; who is waiting on them; and who is late in returning them. KwikInventory™ is the advanced inventory module for the KwikInventory Suite that allows you to keep a perpetual inventory - keeping track of parts inventories, finished goods, supplies, stockroom, etc. It also can be used for order tracking, reorder points, receiving, and label printing. KwikCount/EX™ is a free add-in for Excel® that allows the TriCoder to update data in any Excel® worksheet. If you are very skilled in Excel® macro programming, you could perform some of the basic functions of KwikInventory™ or KwikCheck In/Out™, but our KwikInventory™ software makes the advanced tasks much easier.
Yes, the design behind the KwikInventory™ Suite is that you can purchase whichever module fits your needs, or as many as you need. Plus, as other modules are added in the future you can purchase those as well. In addition, if all you need is the Checking In & Out of items with some very simple inventory functions, then the free KwikInventory/Basic™ software with the KwikCheck In/Out™ Module is all you will need. If you do need additional inventory tools like order tracking and perpetual inventory tracking then you can add the KwikInventory™ Module.
Not unless you are very skilled in Excel® macro programming and have plenty of spare time.

If your database is in Access® or Excel®, you can transfer the data to the KwikInventory™ database. You can also transfer data from KwikCheck In/Out™ into Access® or Excel®, make changes, and then post the data back to KwikCheck In/Out™. The KwikInventory™ Suite file format is Access® compatible.
Yes, we are planning a 5 User Module and an Unlimited User Module that will update all of the modules you have to multi-user. We expect this to be available later this year.
If you have a TriCoder with a USB port built into it then you will be able to use it with the KwikInventory™ Suite, (TriCoder DMA firmware version 3xxx or higher - our latest firmware is always on the web at our downloads page). If you have an older TriCoder without a USB port, it will not work with KwikInventory.
The KwikInventory™ functions require a TriCoder to do inventory, but the KwikCheck In/Out™ Module will work with a standard fixed USB keyboard bar code reader for checking in and out of items at a workstation, laptop, or computer. If you would like to do remote checking in and out of items then you will need a TriCoder. |
