The P22 bar code decoder box is our most flexible bar code reader. The P22 decoder comes standard with both a USB port and a Keyboard Wedge port, plus it offers multiple scanning attachment possibilities, allowing both bar code scanning and/or magnetic stripe scanning. This is perfect for point of sale POS, retail solutions, plus time and attendance applications where both bar code input and magstripe is required.

The P22 in USB mode or Keyboard Wedge mode attach as a second keyboard. Scanned bar code data appears as though it has been typed in. Any program that can accept data from the keyboard will accept data from the bar code reader. Just scan a bar code and the data will appear wherever your cursor is placed.

The P22 decoder supports our stainless steel barcode wands, our undecoded LI50 CCD guns, plus our our undecoded LZ300 & LZ400 Laser Guns as the bar code scanner input device.
